Choose the roles to discuss

Create a short list of actual openings with location, schedule, selling model, and application links. Make sure recruiters understand compensation explanations and training expectations. Confirm which questions require follow-up from another team member.

Create a useful introduction

Explain the company and opportunity in plain language. Ask candidates which work interests them and what experience they bring. Keep the conversation relevant to the job instead of relying on a generic pitch for every visitor.

Plan the handoff

Provide a direct application route and tell candidates whether another interview stage is required. Ask permission before collecting contact information and use approved company processes. Do not make hiring commitments that the recruiter is not authorized to make.

Follow through

Assign responsibility for reviewing applications and responding to candidates. Use the event to improve your understanding of candidate questions as well as to identify potential matches. Review completed next steps rather than measuring success only by the number of resumes collected.
